Privacy Policy

We collect and process personal data only to run the Oshvi storefront and member portal. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.

What we collect

• Account info: email, name, optionally phone number.
• Order info: shipping address, items purchased, payment method label (we don't store full card numbers — Razorpay handles that).
• Support history: WhatsApp / email / Instagram DMs you send us, ticket replies, notes from our support team.
• Site analytics: standard request logs, page views. We don't run third-party trackers without your consent.

How we use it

• To fulfil and ship your orders.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets) from accounts@oshvi.shop.
• To answer your questions when you contact hello@oshvi.shop.
• To improve the site — pricing, fits, drops — using aggregated, de-identified order data.

We do not sell your personal data. Marketing emails are off by default; you opt in explicitly under Account → Settings.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in AWS data centres in Mumbai (ap-south-1): DynamoDB for the application records, S3 for product imagery, Cognito for sign-in. Backups are encrypted and retained for 35 days of point-in-time recovery.

Who else sees it

• Couriers (Shiprocket / Delhivery / Bluedart) see only your shipping address and phone number — to deliver the order.
• Razorpayhandles card & UPI processing under their own privacy policy.
• WhatsApp Business / Meta, if you contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram, sees the messages you send us, per their terms.

Your rights

You can:

• See and edit your profile from Account → Settings.
• Ask for a copy of all data we hold on you — write to hello@oshvi.shop and we'll send a JSON export within 30 days.
• Ask for deletion. We'll remove your account and personal records (orders may be retained in anonymised form for tax / accounting compliance, as required by Indian law).

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in (next-auth.session-token). We don't run third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics in future, we'll ask first.
